About Me
“You make a difference for every single person you come into contact with at work. Is that difference for the better or worse?”
- Alexander Kjerulf -

As acting assistant principal, I accept an original artwork from author, Peter Carnavas.

Promoting a love of reading for students.

Since August 2014, living and working in Doha, Qatar.

Married to fellow educator Jason, with two clever and strong daughters. See Jason's CV via link below.

So much to experience. A few highlights thus far...Australia, Thailand, USA, Mauritius, South Africa, UK, France, Spain, Qatar, Turkey, Austria, Germany, Malaysia, The Netherlands, Greece.

Although I'm far away, I still call Australia home. This is my 'local' beach on a perfect Queensland Summer day.

Teaching children the importance of taking action to help others. This is a jumble sale that was coordinated by my Grade 4 class to raise money for the people of Nepal after a devastating earthquake.

The beauty of getting outdoors. Give me a stand up paddle board or a bicycle to ride and I'm a happy and balanced lady.

Reading and learning at every opportunity. Here I am taking a cooking class on a verandah in Sri Lanka. Recently I have also reignited my love of drawing, taking community classes at a nearby university.
